Aleksey works together with Natasha Merkulova. In collaboration with Natalia, he wrote and directed feature films “Intimate Parts” (The Best Debut award at the 2013 Kinotavr Film Festival) and “The Man Who Surprised Everyone” (The Best Actress in a Leading Role award at the Horizon competition of the 2018 Venice International Film Festival and two Nika awards). Natalia and Aleksey wrote scripts for the feature films “Salut-7” (The Best Film of the Year - 2018 Golden Eagle award) and “Gogol” - a trilogy of feature films and the TV series and wrote and directed TV series “The Call Center” that won The Best Script award at the Pilot Film Festival.
