For nearly three years, for one hour per week, a small room in an old house is transformed into a radio studio.
The Alekseev Hospital is commonly called “Kashchenko”, after the famous Russian psychiatrist. Often at the start of the program, the hosts say “Kashchenko Radio welcomes you!». All of the radio hosts and program authors have been patients of the Alekseev Hospital, either in the distant or very recent past. Shackled by society's rigid framework, in this small room, the former patients reflect and express themselves. Sharing intimate thoughts, they find themselves and freedom. Even if it's just for one hour a week... And they live on, waiting for the next hour on the air.
